Germany, through its Ministry of cooperation and Development (BMZ) and KfW, is supporting these efforts to a large extent. As part of this support, OWDA and WFP are initiating a 4-year project, titled Climate Proofing Food Security in Ethiopia's Drought-Prone Lowland Areas, targeting approximately 50,000 beneficiaries in Gode and East- imay of the Somali Region.
