- The services included under this assignment are to carry out a baseline survey that provides a benchmark from which to measure progress of the BREFONS project through an in-depth situation analysis in the target districts. The baseline survey will also cover interventions by district administration in the target districts, service providers, women groups, traditional and religious leaders, in order to understand the existing conditions. Thus, this survey will attempt to provide the current status of the indicators in the results framework and facilitate monitoring of progress towards meeting program objectives. The program objectives are: Identify Agricultural production (crops and livestock), Identify Annual income per capita (M/F) from Agro-pastoral Value Chains, Identify Number of Pastoralists and Agro-pastoralists in the program target area who use climate services (e.g. seasonal climate forecasting); Identify the number of infrastructure works developed for water, animal health, and access to market; Identify the area of rangeland rehabilitated; Identify climate forecasts and reports produced on the state of resilience; Identify current status of project indicators.
