- Tenders are invited for Burayu Warehouse & Factory Building Construction Works located in Oromia Regional State, Burayu Town Bid closing date: Sep 06, 2022 8:30 AM Bid opening date: Sep 06, 2022 11:00 AM Region: Addis Ababa Bid document price: Birr 100 Bid bond: Birr 200,000.00 Interested bidders must present a copy of the following documents accompanied by the original ones for cross-checking: Certificate of Competence from the Ministry of Construction valid at the bid submission time; Commercial Registration Certificate; Business license renewed for 2014 Eth. Cal.; Tax Clearance Certificate stating that the bidder is eligible to participate in any public tender valid at the bid submission date; VAT Registration Certificate; Registration as Supplier/Contractor in the list of the authorized suppliers. A complete set of bidding documents shall be collected, on and between August 18, 2022, and September 03, 2022, during office hours Monday to Friday, morning from 8:00 to 12:00 AM, afternoon 1:00-4:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 to 12:00 AM with a non-refundable payment of Birr 1000.00 (One thousand only) from the AIC Head office, Procurement, Logistics, and Property Administration Department, located at Ras Abebe Aregay Street, on the 5th floor of Awash Towers. Bidders should submit a bid security of Birr 200,000.00 (two hundred thousand) only in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee payable on first demand and sealed in a separate envelope marked as “Bid Security”. Technical documents (Copy, Original, and Bid Security documents) shall be sealed with a separate envelope each, and these three envelopes shall be sealed with an outer envelope labeled as technical documents. Financial offer documents (Copy and Original documents) shall be sealed separately and these two documents shall be enclosed with an outer envelope labeled as the financial proposal. Finally, both the technical and financial documents which are separately enveloped shall be enclosed in one bigger envelope and labeled as “Bid document for Construction of Burayu Warehouse & Factory Project”. Bidders shall submit bid documents in person on September 06, 2022, from 8:30 A.M to 4:30 AM at the AIC Projects office, located at Lideta Sub-City, 1st floor of Taddese Tefera Building, (in front of Hotel D-Afrique), Addis Ababa. Late bids will be rejected. The bid will be opened and read at the AIC Project Office,at the address mentioned above on the same date at 11:00 A.M in the presence of bidders or legal representatives who choose to attend.
