Assignment Description SELECTION FOR CONSULTANTS BY THE WORLD BANK GROUP REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Electronic Submissions through World Bank Group eConsultant2 https://wbgeconsult2.worldbank.org/wbgec/index.html ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1273962 - Communications strategy and communications campaign implementation support for Refugee and Host Integration through the Safety Net Assignment Countries: - Ethiopia ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The Government of Ethiopias Urban Productive Safety Net and Jobs Project includes a subcomponent on Refugee and Host Integration Through the Safety Net (RHISN). RHISN will extend the urban safety nets public works and livelihood development support schemes to households from both host communities and refugee camps in selected areas, aiming to build social cohesion between the two. The assignment is for a firm or group of firms to develop 1) a communications strategy for RHISN, 2) a communications plan including materials in relevant languages for Phase 1 of RHISN (in Faafan zone of Somali Region), and 3) support and train relevant Government agencies to implement the plan. Strategy and plan should ensure that refugees and households are informed about key project features and should maximize the social cohesion benefits of the program through appropriate messaging. The successful firm shall systematically consult Government and World Bank to ensure alignment with requirements. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. Interested firms are hereby invited to submit expressions of interest. Expressions of Interest should be submitted, in English, electronically through World Bank Group eConsultant2 (https://wbgeconsult2.worldbank.org/wbgec/index.html) NOTES Following this invitation for Expression of Interest, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding. Only those firms which have been shortlisted will receive notification.
