- Expression of Interest are invited for Conduct Final Evaluation for Forest Coffee Value Chain Development Projects Applications from individuals or teams are welcome and will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies: 1. Proven track record conducting project evaluation in the area of participatory forest management 2. Extensive experience in conducting literature reviews and qualitative research including familiarity with participatory research methods 3. Good understanding of the OECD DAC evaluation criteria 4. Sound knowledge and acquaintance of forestry, forest management, coffee production and marketing and related policy frameworks in Ethiopia 5. Strong conceptual understanding of participatory forest management 6. The lead researcher should possess an MSc degree or above in either Forestry, Plant Sciences; NRM; Agricultural Economics; Rural Development or any other relevant disciplines. 7. Demonstrable academic and practical experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodology 8. Strong analytical, facilitation and communication skills 9. Excellent reporting and presentation skills 10. Fluency in spoken and written English and knowledge of the local language, Afan Oromo, is a plus. For a team of consultants, at least half of the team members need to speak the local language, Afan Oromo; Quantitative analysis skills in at least one statistical software (e.g. MS Excel, STATA, R, SPSS).
