  • Expression of Interest are invited for Conduct “Psnp Social Services Mapping, and Development of Gbv Guidelines, Training Modules and Reporting Templates" The Scope of the Consultancy Services includes, but not limited to: Social Service mapping, develop guideline and training/reporting materials develop the mapping/survey tools/matrix templates for social workers to use for data collection, pilot the data collection tools and approach in two woredas in one highland region and two woredas in one lowland region, provide training at the regional level for social workers on the data collection tools and process (which will be informed by the pilot), and then social workers will collect the data in their respective regions, draft mapping matrix of the social services will be submitted and presented to the PSNP Social Development, Nutrition and Linkages to Available Social Services Technical Committee, Address the relevant feedbacks of the Technical Committee and submit final matrix, GBV guideline and training/reporting materials Review and incorporate relevant learning from PSNP assessments/reports relating to gender and GBV issues. Conduct consultations and primary data collection on GBV prevention and mitigation with federal level stakeholders, and regional level stakeholders (including NGOs working on GBV) in two lowland and two highland regions. Draft guidelines, training materials and monitoring and reporting checklists based on consultations and primary data. Submit these deliverables and provide a presentation to the PSNP Social Development, Nutrition and Linkages to Available Social Services Technical Committee address the relevant feedback of the Technical Committee and submit the final documents Conduct a validation workshop of the GBV guidelines, training materials and monitoring/reporting checklists at the federal level Required qualifications and qualities of the consulting firm Demonstrated experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative assessments/ mappings of social services and GBV services Demonstrated experience of working on GBV prevention and mitigation issues in development programs, including experience of engaging on gender issues in both highland and lowland contexts of Ethiopia, experience in designing and developing GBV guides and training materials Previous experiences effectively working with government and development partners/stakeholders in Ethiopia; experiences working with these stakeholders on social protection programmes in Ethiopia are an asset. The Team Lead must have an advanced degree in a Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Development Studies or similar, and at least 8 years of experience in producing training materials, with a focus on GBV and social protection programs in Ethiopia (e.g. Productive Safety Net Programme). Team members should also hold advanced relevant degrees (e.g. Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Development Studies or similar), with a minimum of 5 years of experience in producing training content, with a focus on gender and social protection Track-record of excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities Ability to be flexible and hard-working, both independently and in a team environment, in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities [Disclaimer: The above text is machine translated.
