- United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter referred to as UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) Ethiopia invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for the construction of a (LOT-1) 3-in-1 outdoor sports field and the installation of a (LOT 2) greenhouse at Qoloji, Somali Region, Ethiopia. The aim of the project is to foster social cohesion between internally displaced persons (IDPs) and host communities through shared recreational and agricultural infrastructure. Scope of Work:LOT 1. 3-in-1 Sports Field Construction-Site clearance, excavation, grading, and leveling-Concrete surface preparation and installation of drainage system (0.1 0.5% slope)-Layout and construction of: a) Football field (with goalposts and net) b) Basketball court (with hoops and backboards) c) Volleyball court (removable posts and net)-Painting of sports markings using color-coded, water-based acrylic paint-Installation of fencing and gated access around the field-Construction of stone masonry seating areas with smooth concrete finish-Planting of tree species around the perimeter for shading and coolingLOT 2.
