Mizan Tepi University now invites wax-sealed bids from eligible for furnishing the necessary has allocated funds for the Procurement of the following construction & Consulting works G+1 Student Clinic Project at (Mizan Main Campus) G+1 Student Clinic Project at (Tepi Campus) Student Lounge --Lot 3B Remaining work at (Tepi Campus) Package 08 Work at (Main/Mizan Campus) Detailed Master/Campus Design, Detailed Architectural & Engineering Design for proposed Building & Supervision and Contract Administration at (Tepi Campus) Detailed Master/Campus Design, Referral Hospital, Detailed Architectural & Engineering Design for proposed Building & Supervision and Contract Administration at (Teaching Hospital Campus) 1. The Mizan Tepi University invites a) All Contractors Grade Five (5) for B.C & all contractors grade Six (6) for G.C invited for items listed on (a), (b) and(c) for construction of Student Clinic at Mizan/Main & Tepi Campuses and Student Lounge -Lot 3B Remaining work at Tepi Campus b) All Contractors Grade Six (6) for B.C & all contractors grade Seven (7) for G.C invited for items listed on (d) for construction of Package 08 at Mizan/Main Campuses c) All Consulting Architects & Engineers Grade One (1) invited for items listed on (e) &(f) for Detailed Master plan/Campus Design, Detailed Architectural & Engineering Design for proposed Building & Supervision and Contract Administration at both Tepi and Teaching Hospital Campus (including Referral Hospital Design for Teaching Hospital campuses) 2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national competitive bidding (NCB) procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries. 3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Mizan Tepi University Procurement administration team or Mizan Tepi University Construction Project Office and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8. (a) from Monday to Thursday at 2;30 to 5:30 am and 8:00 to 11;00 pm local time and Friday at 2;30 to 4:30 am and 8:00 to 11; 00 pm local time. 4. A complete set of bidding documents in the English language shall be purchased by any interested eligible bidders as of the first announcement date of the bid on Newspaper up to the bid closing date upon the presentation of legal documents to Mizan Tepi University Procurement Administration Office with a non-refundable fee of Birr 300.00 (Three Hundred Birr) for (a) to (d) above-listed construction work and 500.00 (Five Hundred birr) for (e) (f) above-listed consultancy work. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. 5. Bidders are instructed to submit one ORIGINAL and two PHOTOCOPY of the Qualification Information/Technical Documents, and one ORIGINAL and two PHOTOCOPY of the Financial Bid Documents in a separate Envelope Bid bond must be attached to the qualification document as per the bid document. Copy of documents should be a photocopy of the original bid documents. 6. All Consulting Bidders are instructed to submit one ORIGINAL and two PHOTOCOPY of the Qualification Information/Technical Documents, and one ORIGINAL and two PHOTOCOPY of the Financial Bid Documents in separate Envelope Bid bond must be attached to the qualification document as per the bid document. Copy of documents should be a photocopy of the original bid documents, Consulting bidders are also instructed to submit each schematic design having their own CODE and the Code with a sealed envelope with the stamp and signature of the owner or legal represented personnel of the company. However, a sealed code shall be opened at the end of the schematic design evaluation The bidder is instructed to submit a sealed bid to Mizan Tepi University Procurement admiration directorate office on the 31st calendar day @ 10:00 AM Local time counted from bid announcement day. NB if the consultant stamp or sign is found on the schematic design, the result of the schematic design will be null. 7 The university shall select the successful contractor by applying the evaluated least cost based on the selection method. Bidders must meet the first stage i.e. minimum 70% qualification criteria to pass the second stage i.e. financial proposal evaluation and comparison 8 Late bidders will be rejected. Bids must be delivered to the address below 9(c) beginning from the first date of advertisement until 21st date for the construction works listed above (a) to (d) and 31st date for above listed consulting work on (e) & (f). Proposal bid documents of bidders will be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives, who may choose to attend on the 21th and 31st day at 10:30 AM Local time counted from the bid announcement date at the address below at 9(d). The University reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of this bid. 9 (a) Address documents may be inspected at Mizan Tepi University Mizan/Main campus. (b) Address documents issued from Construction Project Office. (c) Address Bids must be delivered to - Procurement Administration Office Tel. 0473360204 (d) Address of Bid Opening: -Mizan Tepi University Senate hall. 10 Bidders are seriously advised to read and comply with all the instructions provided in the bidding documents. 11. All bidders must be accompanied by: A signed bid form, Registration /Trade Certificate (Legal Status Valid Tax Clearance Certificate, VAT Registration Certificate, Written Power of Attorney, Proof of registration as a Contractor, Registration of FPPA's Supplier List, Renewed trade license in 2014 EC.
