- Tenders are invited for Construction or Rehabilitation of Schools, Health Centers, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (Wash) Facilities, or Similar Infrastructure The work requires GC V (or BC IV) and above contractors with demonstrable experience in construction or rehabilitation of schools, health centers, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities, or similar infrastructure. While the type of work varies from site to site, all work involves the supply and installation of the necessary materials, equipment, and workforce per the approved designs. Specific interventions may include but are not limited to: Restoration of utilities such as water and electricity (preferably PV) to existing facilities. Rehabilitation of damaged walls; broken sanitary and electrical fixtures; and non-structural work such as paint, floor and wall tiles, and doors and windows. Retrofitting or repair of structural elements such as beams, slabs, and columns. Improving or adding new functional access for people with disabilities (i.e., ramps and handrails) as well as safety components. Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above- listed services are invited to submit a response to this RFI no later than Friday, January 13, 2023.
