- Tenders are invited for Construction of Ponds at 6 Sites at 6 Woredas 1 Mudei 2 Afdeto 3 Hasenkoma 4 Terena 5 Muhaotu 6 Serekcma Bid closing date: Mar 01, 2022 7:00 AM Bid opening date: Mar 01, 2022 7:30 AM Region: Afar Bid document price: Birr 500.00 (Five Hundred) Bid bond: 27,000.00 Birr each Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 (Ninety) days after Bid opening. Bids must be accompanied by bid security amount indicated in the table above in the form of Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO. Bids shall be delivered on or before 10:00am, March 1, 2022. Bids shall be opened at 10:30am, March 1, 2022 in the presence of bidders who wish to attend. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected Qualification requirements include: all water works contractors Grade 5 and above having (i) the essential business licenses & certificates, equipment, machineries and manpower (11) specific work experience of completion of at least two similar contracts in the last five years with a value of at least Birr 2,188,000.00, Birr 2,089,000.00, Birr 2,054,000.00, Birr 2,151,000.00, Birr 2,222,000.00, Bir 2,175,000.00 for Lot 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 respectively OR completion of at least 1 (one) contract in the last 5 (five) years with a value of at least Birr 4,376,000.00, Birr 4,178,000.00, Birr 4,108,000.00, Birr 4,302,000.00, Birr 4,444,000.00, Birr 4,350,000.00 for Lot 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 respectively, (iii) the last five years average annual turnover of at least 1.3 times the bid price, (iv) liquid assets of at least Birr 820,000.00, Birr 783,000.00, Birr 770,000.00, Birr 807,000.00, Birr 833,000.00, and Birr 812,000.00 for Lot 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 respectively.
