- Tenders are invited for Consultancy Firm to Conduct a Baseline Study and Gender Analysis of the Project Bid closing date: 10 days of this announcement. Bid opening date: No Specific Opening Date and time Region: Addis Ababa Justice for All -PF Ethiopia (JFA-PFE) is a local non-governmental organization that has been actively engaged with the promotion of human rights, rule of law, good governance, and peacebuilding since 1992. JFA-PFE is currently implementing a project entitled "An Integrated Project on Protection of Human Rights, Strengthening Rule of Law and Peace Building Process in Ethiopia". JFA-PFE is now planning to engage a competent and experienced consultancy firm to conduct a baseline study and Gender Analysis of the project. OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENT: The general objective of the baseline study is to collect and analyze preliminary (baseline) information and conduct gender analysis for the project entitled "An Integrated Project on Protection of Human Rights, Strengthening Rule of Law and Peace Building Process in Ethiopia". REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: The consulting firm should have at least five years of relevant experience in baseline study, Gender analysis, project evaluation or research in related areas. Documents that ascertain experience should be submitted along with a technical & financial proposal. Applying firms must be legally registered consultancy firms with renewed license and tax payers identification number (TIN). The team shall be composed of but not limited to the following 4 members; Human rights specialist (LLM, extensive experience on human rights) Peace building or conflict management specialist (MA in a related area) Qualitative research specialist (MA/MBA, Statistics, Economics, Demography or other relevant field with experience in Human rights/Peace building project management/M&E and research with strong qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills) Gender Analyst ( must be a Female with MA/MSC in Gender studies, social work, Psychology or related field) with at experience in project or research related to gender inclusion or equality Each member must have a minimum of 10years of experience in similar works. Strong knowledge of analytical, qualitative and quantitative research skills Excellent report writing skills. Excellent skill on Stata, SPSS or related software. The TOR can be collected from JFA-PFE Office, Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 12:00 noon in the morning and from 2:00PM to 4:00 PM in the afternoon.
