- Tenders are invited for Consultancy (Firm Level) Legal Review and Cataloguing of Socio-Economic Rights Ethiopian Human Rights Commission(Re-Advirtised). The Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is an independent federal state body established as per the Constitution and reports to the House of Peoples- Representatives as a national human rights institution with the mandate for promotion and protection of human rights. The Commission wants to employ the services of a consultancy firm (company) to conduct a study of legal review and cataloguing of economic and social rights under the supervison of the Socio-Economic Rights Department. Requirements All interested firms (companies): · Should have experts 1. a) who have at least LLM in Human Rights, preferably with a PhD in Law and related fields; 2. b) who have at least five years of experience in human rights research, preferable at least three years of experience of providing human rights advice to public institutions; 3. c) who are proficient in English and Amharic, preferably with additional language skills; and 4. d) who are computer literate. · Must be registered in Ethiopia and possess all registration documents; · Must have a valid tax clearance form; · Should provide evidence (at least 3 references/proof attached) of similar work done within the last 3 years; · Should submit a technical proposal outlining their understanding of the TOR, a methodology on how the work will be conducted, the workplan with timeframe, and how the firm/company meets the selection criteria; and · Financial proposal with the itemized costs for the work covering professional fees, taxes and other costs; Application instructions · Interested firms (companies) can collect the Bid documents, including TOR from the EHRC-s Head Office during office hours starting from the date of this announcement; · Interested applicants must submit their technical and financial proposals in English in two separately sealed envelopes to the Finance and Procurement Department of the EHRC. Applicants are required to submit copies of license, VAT, registration, etc., together with their technical proposal; · Registered as Suppliers with Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency;
