- Tenders are invited for Consultancy Service to Conduct Assessment and Identification of Project Best Practices and Lessons of Majang Forest Biosphere Reserve Objective of the assignment The objective of this assignment will be assessment and documentation of project history focusing on major achievements and lesson learned. The tasks of the consultancy firm/consultant include the following among others; Assess and document history of the project intervention in the two phases from 2014-2018 implemented by MELCA and from 2019-2022 implemented by MELCA in partnership with Farm Africa taking the project objectives at each phase in to account. Describe the processes, innovations or results that make the identified interventions as best practices using clear criteria Document major challenges and key lessons learnt; Document best case stories featuring changes in the lives of beneficiaries, conservation of the forest or capacity of stakeholders Identify key lessons that need to be adopted scaled out or up in the future project/program design and implementation; Make specific and general recommendations for future project design and implementation The documentation should be prepared by having clear narrative with support of substantive factual evidences, best pictorial representations and views of all concerned. Present the major findings on the validation workshop Incorporate relevant inputs given by MELCA-Ethiopia and participants and submit the final edited document; Applicants are required to meet the following: Be legally registered and have a renewed license for the current fiscal year, Have a successful track record of handling similar tasks, Capable of commanding sufficient number of competent experts in the fields of the assignment, Availing of competent female expert has advantage in the selection process. Duration of the Assignment: The consultant needs to prepare and submit schedule for undertaking the task. Location of the Assignment: Majang Zone, Project Woredas (Godere and Mengesh) How to Apply: Interested applicants are invited to collect the ToR from MELCA-Ethiopia-s Head Office in 5 working days, from Monday to Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00 PM, starting from the date of the appearance of this advertisement and shall be required to submit the quotation within 10 days of the announcement on the newspaper. The proposals should clearly marked technical and financial proposal separately in person with WAX SEALED ENVELOP with “Original” and “Copy” of the quote to MELCA Office until 29/07/2022, before 5:00 P.M and late quotes shall not be considered.
