- Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Service for the Provision of Ethiopian Early Generation Seed (Egs) Demand and Supply Mapping Transformation Agenda: The Agency reports to the National Steering Committee Co-chaired by the Minister of Ministry Agriculture and representative of Development partners. The scope of this service includes: The study covers 3 regions, SNNPR, Oromia, Amhara and Tigray All Federal and regional commodity excellence research centers will be consulted in Oromia, Amhara and SNNP In depth analysis of historical trends of EGS demand and supply. Representatives of RBoA and RARIs will be consulted. Conduct a desk top research on developing countries that have better EGS supply system. This must consider countries that have relatively similar agro-ecology and crop diversity with Ethiopia Secondary data collection, analysis and interpretation will be performed by the consultant. Map the current EGS demand and supply system for major commodities such as maize, wheat, teff, barley and rotational crops). Also outline the challenges associated with the current supply system.
