- Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Service for the Provision of Ethiopian Private Seed Sector Study The scope of this service includes: The study covers 3 regions, SNNPR, Oromia, Amhara, and Tigray At least 49(Oromia 23, Amhara 18, and SNNP 8) private seed producers will be assessed. Clearly identify practical challenges, opportunities, and entry points that help to enhance engagement of the private sector. Representatives of all public actors in the seed system will be consulted Federal and Regional representatives of the Job Creation Commission and will be consulted. Regional land administration and investment commissions will be consulted on possibilities and experiences of youth group engagement in commercial agriculture, Assess 6 Farmers Production Cluster (FPC) groups on the potential engagement of FPCs on sustainable seed business. This covers FPCs engaged in major commodities such as maize, wheat, teff, barley, and rotational crops) Secondary data collection, analysis, and interpretation will be performed by the consultant
