  • Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Services Environmental and Social Consultant Selection The overall success of AgriHub will be measured by three main components: business development skills support for MSMEs, access to finance for MSMEs, and the documentation of efficient methodologies & tools, and development of a network of partners and service providers for further outreach and scaling up of the approach. Agarieb***** is unique to other services and activities provided by ATA as its project teams mainly provide technical assistance to these MSMEs while AgriHub is designed to be a business development hub within The scope of the assignment/deliverables will notably include supporting ATA in the implementation of the following activities, which would be clearly provided with the ATA Environmental and Social Commitment plan (ESCP) Conduct an E&S Audit of the ATA E&S Management System (ESMS), including policies, procedures, training, tools, and in-house resources and capacities. This will commence and implemented 3 months after E&S TA recruitment Develop/update and implement an B&S training program for ATA organization particularly for employees involved in the roll-out of the SMS, based on the TA E&S Audit recommendations. This will commence and implemented months after E&S TA recruitment Update the ATA F&S management system. This will commence and implemented 12 months after E&S TA recruitment The SMS will ensure evaluation, management, and follow up the EAS related to ATA dies activities od pojedise their compliance with the local regulation and improve their FAS performance The SMS will be based on the TA FAS Audit recommendations and will ensure compliance with local regulation and when appropriate, international best practices This will include the creation, if possible, of an integrated management system The ESMS will include E&S policies & procedures and tools, notably categorization tool, E&S risks evaluation guidelines adapted to agriculture and agribusiness sector, identification of safeguards document requirements (ESIA, ESMP, RAP, license...),TOR for clients' audit and support, PAS requirements in the construction bidding's documents monitoring guidelines, identification of internal or external expertise to support clients, Wakeholder engagement and grievance mechanism The ESMS will ensure that O) SMEs involved in production use or trade of GMOsseeds will not be supported by ATA and that (li) sustainable pesticide management (selection, storage, bundling, use..) will be promoted, Linked to the Component (Business development skills strengthening for pri-SME), develop a specific FAS training module for all SMEs joining the Center of Excellence (regulatory requirements main VS risks related to agriculture and agribusiness worstable supply chain improvement of ES performance certification, and to market. The consultant should provide at least three (3)references from companies for whom ESMS implementation 15 years of experience in the E&S consultancy and related services, experience working with agribusiness sector is advantageous Experience in developing intemationally recognized environmental and social management systems. Knowledge and experience working with universally accepted environmental and social standards, eg, ISO 9001, ISO14001, and ISO 45001 Satisfactory, detailed restimonials from clients Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Demonstrated project management coordination, and operational experience Ability to work under pressure in challenging and remote locations and demonstrated adaptation and flexibility skills to work within a multi-disciplinary and multicultural environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated written and verbal skills of local and English languages.
