- Tenders are invited for Consultancy Services on Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (Esia), for Landfill Sites at Boditi, and Jinka Cities and Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for Abattoir Site in Halaba City The Bureau of Urban Development and construction intends to use part of the proceeds for consultancy services on, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), for Landfill sites at Boditi, and Jinka Cities and, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for Abattoir site in Halaba city. The consulting service includes but is not limited to the following; Provide a complete description of the existing site proposed for Landfill in Bodit, and Jinka cities and the abattoir site in Halaba Kulito city. Detail the elements of this construction project, highlighting areas to be reserved for construction and the areas which are to be preserved in their existing state, Identify the major environmental and social issues of concern through the presentation of baseline data which should include social and cultural considerations. Assess public perception of the proposed projects, Outline the Legislations and Regulations relevant to the project to draw necessary lessons for management and monitoring plan preparation; Predict the likely impacts of the project on the described environment, including direct, indirect, and cumulative impacts, and indicate their relative importance to the design of the project's facilities, Identify mitigation actions to be taken to minimize potential adverse impacts and quantify associated costs, Prepare environmental and social management plans and applicable resettlement action plans considering current land acquisition and appropriation proclamation and regulation, Design a Monitoring Plan clearly specifying each project phase (construction, implementation, and decommissioning phases) ensuring that the mitigation plan adheres to existing legal frameworks, Describe the alternatives to the project that could be considered at that site Bid closing date: Not later than 15 days of this announcement Bid opening date: No Specific Opening Date and Time Region: SNNPR
