- Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Services for Updating of Feasibility Study, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) and Preparation of Design and Bidding Documents.
The services to be provided under the Assignment include, but not limited to, the following:
a) Review, update and completion of the Feasibility Study prepared by EEP considering the existing and future power generation and transmission lines including regional power interconnections. This task shall include power system study/network analysis, conductor selection, determine project-s viability by preparing economic and financial analysis, preparation of project-s schedule and cost estimate, etc.
b) Review, update and completion of the ESIA Study and RAP prepared by EEP, prepare an Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) in accordance with the African Development Bank-s Environmental and Social Assessment Procedures, Integrated Environmental and Social Impacts Assessment Guidelines, particularly on power projects, and Bank-s policy on Involuntary Resettlement
c) Prepare detailed design including the transmission lines profile, specifications, optimized layout and design of project components and bidding documents based on best engineering practice.
d) Knowledge Transfer through on-job training for a number of relevant EEP staff.
e) Submit the updated feasibility study, ESIA and RAP studies, as well as design and bidding documents.
