- Tenders are invited for Consultant to Assess the Current Physical Layout and Infrastructural Facilities of Aroge Gebeya, Hawassa City The EatSafe (Evidence and Action Towards Safe, Nutritious Food) programme aims to generate evidence and knowledge of the potential of increased consumer demand for safe food to substantially improve the safety of nutritious foods in informal market settings. Currently EatSafe program in Ethiopia is ready to launch three interventions aimed to increase consumers demand on food safety in the Aroge Gebeya traditional Market, Hawassa city. One of the interventions is a Market Improvement Initiative, which will bring together a group of Hawassa city stakeholders to develop a market improvement plan for Aroge Gebeya. The market infrastructure audit will be a foundational document for the Market Improvement Initiative as it will lay out the current infrastructure of Aroge Gebeya and provide key recommendations for its improvement. GAIN is looking for an eligible consultant to assess the current physical layout and infrastructural facilities of Aroge Gebeya, Hawassa City. This assessment is expected to examine the availability and status of key market facilities.
