- Tenders are invited for Contract a Consultant/Service Providers. Pact is a US based International nonprofit international development organization founded in 1971, Pact works on the ground in more than 30 countries to improve the lives of those who are poor and marginalized. Pact strives for a world where all people exercise their voice, build their own solutions and take ownership of their future. Pact Ethiopia has been implementing projects since 1995 in sectors that include reproductive health, HIV/AIDs, education, girls- and women-s empowerment, support vulnerable children, capacity development, strengthening institutions for peace and development and governance. CSSP2 is a three-year capacity development programme funded by the FCDO, Irish Aid, Embassy of Sweden and Norway, managed by the British Council in consortium with PACT UK and SDD. The programme aims to contribute to inclusive and accountable governance for better equitable and inclusive access to services; and an improving environment for the promotion and protection of the human rights of all. Granting, Capacity Development and Engagement are the core strategies of the programme that mainstream key cross cutting strategies including gender equality and social inclusion (GESI), Safeguarding and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning. Moreover, using Regional Hubs as a basic programme delivery unit, working on Human Rights-Based Approach and investing on coalitions for collective impact initiatives are also the key strategies and approaches used for successful, effective and efficient implementation of CSSP2. The program has planned to organize a marketplace for organizational development (OD) practice of its CSO partners. The OD Marketplace is a nascent attempt seeking to strengthen intra-sectoral growth and development mechanism/approach with the aim of cross fertilization of ideas and experiences which can foster solidarity across the CSO sector. In this marketplace, CSO partners will get the opportunity to voluntarily sell and/or buy the best organizational development related skills and practices to and from its peer CSOs. The number of CSO partners expected to benefit from the two-days OD marketplace is expected to be 35 organizations drawn from both Addis Ababa and from regions. Pact is thus seeking to contract a consultant/service providers who will organize the two days OD marketplace to CSSP2 partner CSOs where participating organizations will voluntarily exchange, sell and/or buy organizational development opportunities. The potential service provider is expected closely work with CSSP2 team on the identification of CSOs who-ll participate in the marketplace, provision of technical support to the CSOs; conceptual presentation on OD marketplace in the CSO context and facilitating discussions. The OD marketplace is tentatively scheduled to take place during the week of July 19, 2021, in Addis Ababa. Hence, Pact would like to invite potential service providers/consulting firms to this assignment to collect the detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) by physically coming to Pact Office or through email before June 14 2021 mid-day.
