- Expression of Interest are invited for Contract for Gis-Based Network Analysis Consulting Service The service include but not limited to; Develop and Design methodologies for data collection (quantitative and qualitative) data analysis. The key stakeholders to be interviewed during the data collection process include private and public sectors, relevant Government Ministries and Agencies, education institutions, trade unions, employees, graduates and students, Design GIS Enterprise GIS Operation architecture for efficient Energy and network analysis and planning. Liaise with EEP corporate IT office for the deployment and integration of the enterprise GIS system on top of existing information technology (IT) infrastructure and provides specific recommendations for hardware and network solutions based on existing and planned business needs. Identification of Infrastructure upgrade needs communication network capacity, software development needs, and development costs. Define a procurement plan, request approval for procurement process. Analysis, validation and organization of the collected information for existing system and planned system (2021-2030), which are needed for GIS based existing and planned system network analysis and energy planning Develop enterprise GIS data specifications, data acquisition tools, APIs, data management manuals guidelines and strategies Develop simplified data management system to consolidate the primary information compatible to ESRI ArcGIS,QGIS: c.g Layer field, attributes Develop Georeferenced database able to contain essential information for network analysis and energy analysis and planning activities. Definition of list of studies and analysis to be performed, objectives expected results, (1) Existing system.- network power loss evaluations, affordability, equity, operation and asset management, etc (il) Planned system:- least cost generation and transmission planning, grid access, equity, affordability assessment Integration with DlgSILENT power system simulation software for importing and exporting network information and with other applications such as Microsoft excel etc. Produce set of GIS displays and interactive maps that will enable different users access to layers of information and produced tailored reports. Conduct dissemination workshops/ seminars on deliverables, as and when required
