- Prequalifications are invited for Design-Built Project of Administration Sectorial Office Bid closing date: Feb 03, 2022 11:00 AM Bid opening date: Feb 02, 2022 11:30 PM Bid document price: (ETB) 500.00 (Five Hundred Birr only) or United States Dollar (USD) $15 (fifteen United States Dollar only) The Employer intends to prequalify grade 1 - DB Contractors for the 6. below mentioned two Lots contracts as One package each having 4B+G+0 to 4B+G+21 Story Building. Each Lot will have an average gross area of about 150,000m2. The Employer will provide a preliminary schematic architectural design drawing and site plan & information to be used as a startup for the Design-Build [DB] contractor. The project site is located in Addis Ababa Megenagna in front of AMICHE. Prequalification will be conducted through the procedures as specified in PDS and it is open to all eligible applicants. A shortlist of prequalified applicants will be invited to participate in a Tender to be conducted in February/2022. If the number of prequalified Tenderers is less than three, the employer will either cancel the process or find other methods (such as re-advertise open REQUEST FOR PREQUALIFICATION or continue to tender with the prequalified applicants with the management decision Interested eligible applicants should have proven experience and best performance reputations in the delivery of design-build projects similar to this project in size and complexity. Design-build contractors having specific experience in the design and construction of Modern Office Complex Buildings are preferred by the employer. Applicants may obtain further information from Addis Ababa City Administration Mega Projects Construction Office, at the address below 9 During office hours (8:30 AM-12:30 PM & 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday) local time at Arat kilo, nib bank building, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Scope of prequalification mentioned within documents. A Complete set of prequalification documents prepared in English shall be purchased by interested applicants on the submission of a written application to the address below 9 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr (ETB) 500.00 (Five Hundred Birr only) or United States Dollar (USD) $15 (fifteen United States Dollar only) starting from January 05/2022 The method of payment will be in cash or CPO or a Bank transfer through the Construction Office's SWIFT address Addis Ababa city administration Mega Projects Construction Office, commercial bank of Ethiopia, account number 1000337484925 for foreign Tenderers before collection of the REQUEST FOR PREQUALIFICATION document. Applicants shall also bring a letter of application with full electronic and physical address. The applicant shall send its document in hard copy in person to the Employers Address. The Employer has no liability for loss or late delivery. The delivery procedure is usually airmail for overseas delivery and surface mail or courier for local delivery. If urgency or security dictates, courier services may be required for overseas delivery. The REQUEST FOR PREQUALIFICATION document (in Read Only form) will be posted on the Employer's web page for inspection by prospective Applicants.
