- Expression of Interest are invited for Design Forecast-Based Financing System for Triggering Anticipatory Actions to Reduce Flood Impacts. ISSUE DATE AND TIME: Dec 18,2023 13:08 CLOSING DATE AND TIME: Jan 04,2024 23:59 The objective is to provide technical advisory and capacity building support to guide the development of an improved FbF system to reduce the impacts of flooding in Ethiopia. The specific objectives are: To review and gap analysis on the existing FbF system. To conduct need assessment for effective FbF system To provide recommendations for developing an improved FbF system focusing on floods; considering the necessary institutional arrangements. The WBG reserves the right to publicly disclose contract award information, including but not limited to, name of company receiving the award, brief description of services, and contract award amount, for any contract award valued over US$250,000. Offeror's proposal and contractual documents will remain confidential and therefore not subject to disclosure.
