- Tenders are invited for Design, Supply, installation, and Commissioning of Chaka-CotebeBela Underground Re-Route Transmission line Design, supply, installation, and commissioning of 3.9 km underground 132kV single circuit transmission line and corresponding 3.9 km fiber optics cable to be installed in the ground inside the cable duct. Except for the construction of the cable duct, which is going to be constructed by the employer, all other necessary electromechanical and related civil work will be the responsibility of the contractor. Design, supply, installation, and commissioning of 0.9 km overhead 132 kV single circuit transmission line including two steel lattice terminal towers, two steel lattice angle towers, and 0.9 km route single circuit 3- phase AAAC "ASH" conductor and corresponding OPGW. 7. The Bidding document in the English language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr Five Thousand Five Hundred (ETB 5,500) or United States Dollar One Hundred (USD 100) or it's equivalent in any freely convertible currency from the Ethiopian Electric Power, Procurement office. The method of payment shall be in cash or cashier's check or through telegraphic transfer to EEP Transmission Construction A/C No.: 1000252665203, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE), Arada Giorgis Branch, Swift Code: CBETETAA; and EEP BUMBUNA HPP A/C No.0101181300051, National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE), Swift Code: NBETETAA, for ETB and Foreign Currency Account respectively. 8. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 2:00 PM, Local time (Addis Ababa) March 7, 2023. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 2:30 PM, Local time (Addis Ababa) on March 7, 2023. 9. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in USD 66,500 (Sixty Six Thousand Five Hundred) or its equivalent in any freely convertible currency.
