- Request for proposals are invited for Developing Gender-Responsive Climate Actions Training Module Bid closing date: January 10/2024 before 10:00 A.M (Local time) Bid opening date: January 10/2024 at 10:30 A.M Region: Addis Ababa Bid bond: 50,000.00 ETB Scope of work and expected outputs/deliverables: Develop training content on Gender-responsive climate actions both including conceptual and practical exercises with standard training guidelines, illustrations, and visualized presentation. Provide activities and group discussion points under each training topic/session Include an art of facilitation to guide training facilitators. Prepare follow-up/supervision tool and report format. prepare the training manual both in Amharic and English using culturally and politically acceptable expressions. The training manual shall have an illustration and layout design to make adult-friendly training material. The training content shall include key message posters within the handbook. A trial session will be conducted on one of the project-s target schools to draw relevant feedback on the content structure and methodology. Conduct a validation meeting after the submission of the first draft content Publication of the final draft into a printable manual with high-standard designing quality. Findal Deliverables: A training manual for students, youth, and general community in Amharic and English (minimum 60 pages) A training manual guideline for trainers (Trainer Guide) Timeframe and deadlines: This assignment is urgently needed so it is likely to commence immediately after the tender winner is announced. The winner of the tender will be notified on January 16/2024. And the winner will sign a contract by January 17/2024. An inception report will be presented on January 23/2024 at the Cuso International Ethiopia head office and Final reports will be expected to be delivered by February 28/2024. REQUIREMENTS FOR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the field of training, in Gender, women right and Gender Equality, Environment, and sustainable development Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing training modules for youth and adults both at urban and rural settings. Demonstrated experiences in the art of facilitation skills. The consultant shall present testimony of previous similar works along with the technical proposal. A postgraduate or equivalent qualification in Gender and Environment and Sustainable Development or any other relevant discipline. Relevant regional and international experience will be an added advantage.
