- Tenders are invited for Digital Business Consultant /E-commerce for Ethiopian Postal Services (EPS) The consulting services ("the Services”) include "Recruitment of Digital Business Consultant /Ecommerce" The Small and Medium Enterprise Finance Project (SMEFP) under the Federal Small and Medium Manufacturing Industry Promotion Authority is seeking to hire qualified and experienced Digital Business Consultant E-commerce for the Ethiopian Postal Services (EPS) Number of individual Consultant required for the Assignment: 1 (one) Objective of the assignment The consultant will be responsible to develop business plan to integrate the existing services in the e-commerce value chain. He/she will study the business processes of the organization and reengineer them to suit the e-commerce value chain. The business processes designed should achieve the overall objectives of the project. Duties and Responsibilities The Digital Business Consultant will be responsible to: Design work plan for launching e-commerce service and implement accordingly Conduct market research Conduct project feasibility study Develop project plan Gather system requirements and design solutions Work with the ICT consultant to design information systems Prepare RFP for services and equipment procurement Liaise with other supply chain partners in designing and implementing e-commerce systems Report on progress of e-commerce project Planning for training of Ethiopian Post's team for the operation and management of the ecommerce system Facilitating workshops for Ethiopian Post and other stakeholders in the SMEFP Build teams at Ethiopian Post for operation and management of the e-commerce system Lead the logistics part of e-commerce system management Work to get required/recommended certification for systems to be implemented Qualifications and Experience The successful applicant will have the following qualifications and experience: The Digital Business Consultant should have at least a bachelor degree in Information systems, Business management or related field. Required Experience: The Digital Business Consultant should have at least 5 years of working experience in ecommerce, digital business environment or similar sector. He/she should also have experience in managing projects. Skills required: The Digital Business Consultant must have the following knowledge and skills: Independent with an ability to plan and execute strategically Skills in conducting market research, collecting requirements and designing solution Strong problem-solving skills by leveraging on internal strengths and working with relevant partners; Quick learner with strong analytical skill to understand requirements and systems Proven record of working in teams with an ability and readiness to respond to the needs of others Advanced skills in conducting training programs Project management skills Excellent communication skills - English and Amharic
