- Whileambitious e-mobility objectives have been announced and considerable progressbeen made by the Ethiopian Government, in particular the Ministry of Transportand Logistics, there is no clear shared vision or multi-sectoral roadmap inplace towards achieving a transition. The objective of the assignment isto inform the ongoing cross-sector dialogue and towards the development andadoption of an integrated e-mobility roadmap, incorporating views and requirements from a power sector perspective. The assignment will be carried out in twophases. Phase 1 will provide important market, power sector infrastructure, policy andregulatory, as well as investment needs assessments. This will include current and future state of electric vehicle fleet assessment, policy and regulatory gap analysis, power system and utility impact analysis, charging infrastructure assessment, and a business model analysis. Findings of the assessmentwill inform Phase 2, the development and adoption of the cross-sectoralroadmap. This ToR covers Phase 1 of the project. This project is led by the Energy Global Practice, in close cooperation with the Transport Practice and IFC.
