- Tenders are invited for Consultancy Service to Conduct Baseline Survey on Livelihoods and Education Projects in Addis Ababa City Government, and in Oromia and Somali Regional States. 1. Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is an international relief and development agency that was established in Birmingham, UK in 1984. Islamic Relief (IR) began a relief work in Ethiopia in 2000 in response to the severe drought that plagued great parts of the Somali region. Four years after first started working in the country, IR officially opened office in the country in 2004. Since 2004, Islamic Relief (IR) has been operational in Ethiopia delivering humanitarian assistance and implementing development interventions. Working with the local communities and government, IR managed to reach millions of vulnerable communities in remote pastoralist areas and the very urban poor. 2. In view of this, IR Ethiopia (IRE) has received funding to implement livelihoods and education multi-year development projects in three administrative states in Ethiopia - Addis Ababa, Oromia and Somali - to improve livelihoods and inclusive quality education. 3. IRE is planning to undertake baseline survey to generate statistically valid information on high level project indicators (impact and outcome) and establish benchmarks that will serve as the basis for comparison with the same type of information to be collected during a final evaluation to be conducted at the end of implementation of these projects. Accordingly IRE invites competent consulting firm/ freelance consultant, who have relevant experience to submit applications to undertake baseline survey of these projects. 4. Therefore, interested individuals/firm can collect the detailed ToR through Ethiopia.Procurment@islamic-relief.org.et. 5. Please submit technical and financial proposals separately to IRE Country Office before 10:00 AM on 15th March 2021 or through Ethiopia.Procurment@islamic-relief.org.et.
