- Tenders are invited for External Auditor to Conduct an Audit Service for its Fiscal Year 2022 Bid closing date: January 4, 2023, to January 14, 2023 Bid opening date: No Specific Opening Date and Time Region: Addis Ababa The East African Initiative for Change (I4C), established in 2012 E.C., is a non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit making organization registered in Ethiopia as a “local organization” in accordance with the Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No 1113/2019 (registration no 4805). I4C promotes multiculturalism and inclusion in communities. I4C is currently seeking an External Auditor to conduct an audit service for its fiscal year 2014 E.C. financial statements in accordance with the requirement of Accepted Accounting Standards & Agency for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO). Eligible audit firms which fulfill the following requirements are invited to participate in this bid and submit their proposal. The requirements: Organizational profile and staff composition Renewed professional license and business registration license Certificate of compliance from the office of the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) Have evidence of auditing experience with similar NGOs Evidence of previous experience of auditing financial statements prepared based on Accepted Accounting Standards VAT registration certificate Tax payer registration Certificate (TIN) Scope of the Service: The firm will audit the client-s financial statement for the fiscal year 2014 E.C. The firm should conduct the audit according to Accepted Accounting Standards & Agency for Civil Society Organization's requirements. The firm will audit the financial statement and the supporting documents of the concerned period as prepared by the client and will give his opinion on the fair presentation of the financial statement. The audit will be based in Addis Ababa Office. The firm should provide the fee for audit service charged, clearly by indicating with or without VAT and the duration of the annual audit. I4C reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to bidders. Audit firms that meet the requirements are kindly requested to submit in person their technical and financial proposals starting from January 4, 2023, to January 14, 2023, during working hours in a sealed and stamped envelope to the address below.
