- Tenders are invited for Freight Transportation Service. The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) Ethiopia is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) working on humanitarian and development projects in various regions of Ethiopia. LWF wishes to enter into framework agreement with legally registered vehicle rental companies that are interested to participate in this tender and fulfil the below requirements: 1. 1. Bidders must have renewed and valid Business license, Commercial registration, TIN and VAT certificates and a valid license from Road Transport Authority. 2. 3. 2. Bidders are required to submit their company profile, recommendation letters similar for rental service rendered in the past to non-governmental organizations. 4. 5. 3. Bidders should attach a summary of the company owned trucks with type, model, production year and copy of ownership certificates. 6. 7. 4. Price to be offered should be per the type of truck and loading capacity. 8. 9. 5. Interested eligible bidders can collect free of charge Request for Quotation (RfQ) format containing detailed specifications for the required freight transportation from the LWF Ethiopia Country Office, Addis Ababa, Room no 23. 10. 11. 6. Bid will be closed on March 18/2021 at 1500. All bids received after the indicated date and time shall be rejected. 12. 13. 7. Bids will be opened on March 19/2021 at 1400 in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives who choose to attend the bid opening at LWF Ethiopia Country Office in Addis Ababa. 14. 15. 8. The bids should be signed and submitted in sealed envelopes. 16. 17. 9. Bids must be deposited in a tender box situated in the LWF Ethiopia office Addis Ababa in the address indicated below before the closing date. Bids must be submitted during official working hours, Monday to Friday from 8:00am -12:00 pm in the morning and from 01:00pm to 4:00pm in the afternoon. 18. 19. 10. LWF World Service Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without providing any reason thereof.
