- Expression of Interest are invited for Hiring a Consultant for a Period of 24-Man Months. The service include but not limited to; Ensure financial sustainability and viability of EEP through efficiency in both operation and capital investment activities. Developing equitable and affordable grid electricity access with a view of achieving sustainable development goal and NEP 2.0 progreammes to improve living condition of households and protect the environment. Foster economic partnership, collaboration and networking, at national, regional and international levels, with institution promoting renewable energy. Develop electricity trade strategy at regional and continental level with special attention on using regional power pools to leverage economic and social development of the regions and the african contenent and their economic integration. Mitigation of climate change impact Seeking to ensure of national energy security through increasing the share of renewable energy in the national energy mix, trade, and regional integration Increasing effectiveness and competitiveness of national economies by aki8ng use ofcomparative advantages through trade and in particular by promoting efficient use of regional interconnectors.
