- Expression of Interest are invited for ICT/ E-Commerce Consultant for Ethiopian Postal Services (EPS) Skills required The ICT Consultant must have the following knowledge and skills: Independent with an ability to plan and execute strategically Basic skill in developing and administering databases; knowledge of data and IT infrastructure security, basic network administration skills Strong problem-solving skills by leveraging on internal strengths an working with relevant partners Quick learner with strong analytical skill to understand requirements and systems Proven record of working in teams with an ability and readiness to respond to the needs of others Advanced design skills to provide neat and forward Hooking solutions Programming skills in two or more programming languages/platforms Skilled to implement, test, integrate and maintain application or lead the team that carries out those tasks Excellent communication skills - English and Amharic Duties and Responsibilities: The ICT Consultant will be responsible to: Design work plan for launching e-commerce service and implement accordingly Identify resources and alternative modalities for e-commerce service Build ICT team in order to develop internal capacity to provide solutions Plan and develop applications in house Design interventions to ensure security of IT infrastructure and data Implement solutions/applications provided by vendors and partners Work with partners to improve the performance of the organization Work on system integration with other stakeholders Advise Ethiopian Post management regarding all ICT issues within the scope of the project Required Qualifications and Experience: The successful applicant will have the following qualifications and experience: The ICT Consultant should have at least a bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or related field The ICT Consultant should have at least 8 years of working experience in programming, database development, mobile application development and similar engagements
