- Expression of Interest are invited for Individual Consultancy Service of Senior Contract and Claim Expert. The Senior Contract and Claim Expert will undertake but not limited to, the following main duties and responsibilities, Provide advice and/or prepare proposal on contract administration, claim and dispute prevention and management Provide advice and/or prepare proposal on the potential cost and time implications of variation orders; Ensure validity of any claims for extension of time and/or costs. Monitor the project progress and propose corrective measures with regards to cost and time. Participate in meetings related to claims, contract discussions, negotiation and etc. Support the road construction contract administration and housing road construction contract administration directorates with the review of documents, including, documents for claims and payment of claims submitted by consultants and contractors with the purpose of ensuring their quality and compliance with the requirements of the contracts, Support AACRA to identify all potential problems and risks during claim procedures and assist by all reasonable means in selecting options for resolving them Provide advice and/or prepare proposal on settlement of claims, including the strategy to be adopted to suit any given set of circumstances. Assist the authority in the preparation of documents pertaining to contract management, claims and dispute avoidance and management. Assist and capacitate other AACRA staffs through on job monitoring and trainings. Prepare and organize capacity building programs/trainings on contract management and claims analysis.
