- Expression of Interest are invited for Interpretation Services - AFIAP In this regard, the services of a firm to provide interpretation services to support the successful implementation project events/activities are required. The services entail: a) Providing real-time simultaneous interpretation services between English and another selected language of the African Union (French, Arabic and/or Portuguese) during two/three-day project events (validation meetings, technical working group meetings, workshops, trainings, conferences, forums, etc.) to be held in multiple locations across Africa for up to 8 hours per day; b) Ensuring that the interpretation of both languages is accurate and delivered in a clear and concise manner; c) Collaborating with the event organizers to ensure that the interpretation services meet the needs of the participants; d) The interpreters may be required to translate speeches, discussions, and other communication in real-time for participants who do not speak the language of the speakers; e) Provision of interpretation / audio equipment including but not limited to interpretation booths, table top microphones, interpretation headsets and any other equipment required to be used by all participants.
