  • Tenders are invited for Livelihood Experts for RRS with the Responsibility of Coordinating and Facilitating the Drdip Ii Implementation of Traditional and Nontraditional Livelihoods Ethiopia is currently hosts close to a million refugees from 26 different countries, which ranks the third largest refugee hosting countries in the Horn of Africa. Most of these refugees originate from South Sudan, Somalia, Eritrea and Sudan. In Ethiopia majority of the refugees are currently sheltered in 26 camps/sites, while some others are living outside the camps including the capital city, Addis Ababa, by the Out of Camp Policy (OCP) as al as with due recognition of the urban refugee status to eligible persons. Refugee and Returnee Services (RRS) is collaboratively working with various partners to comprehensively support refugees, returnees, and host communities. In this regard, RRS is working with Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) to implement Development Response to Displacement Impacts Project phase II (DRDIP II) in the camps/sites. DRDIP II is a five-year project, designed to expand and sustain a comprehensive developmental response for the impacts of refugees to directly benefit both host and refugee communities in six target regions (Afar, Amhara, B/gumuz, Gambella, Somali and Tigray). The project is a multi-level and multi-sectoral investment that focuses on the impacts of the presence of on the host communities. It seeks to demonstrate a fundamental shift in the way forced displacement was addressed.
