- Tenders are invited for Ethiopian Airlines Group Invites Qualified Bidders for the Ethiopian Aviation University Maintenance and Renovation Project at Bole International Airport, Ethiopian Airlines Aviation University Compound Bid document price 100.00 Birr Bid bond 300,000.00 Birr Bidders are instructed to visit the site before submitting the bid document. Please note that a site visit is Mandatory, which will be scheduled on October 19, 2023, at 10:30 AM. Project Completion date shall be 120 Calendar days from site handover. The sealed bid document must be submitted in separate envelopes i.e., (Technical and Financial Offer, and Bid Security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as "ORIGINAL" and "COPIES" document delivered to the below address on/before October 30, 2023, at 02:30 PM (afternoon). The bid will be opened on the same date at 03:00 PM at the Ethiopian Airlines Group Head office in Addis Ababa, in the presence of those interested bidders or their representatives. Bidders shall submit Bid security in the form of CPO or unconditional bank guarantee valid for 90 consecutive days from banks with an amount of Birr 300,000.00 (Three Hundred Thousand Birr) in the name of "Ethiopian Airlines Group". Any insurance guarantee shall not be accepted. The deposit bid security received from unsuccessful bidders will be returned. Interested bidders should deposit non-refundable ETB One Hundred (100.00 Birr) to the nearby Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) branch referring this tender number SSNT-T 412 to Ethiopian Airlines Group Account Number (1000006958277(E-99). Bidders shall email the scanned copy of the deposit slip to the below address and will get the Tender document by return email. Project Commencement date shall be within 5 Calendar days from site handover. The awarded contractor must submit a Performance bond guarantee (10% of the contract amount) within 5 working days after the announcement of the winner. Ethiopian Airlines reserves the right to reject any or all bids or part of the bid.
