- Tenders are invited for Organizational Development and Strategic Plan Study- Admas Multi-Purpose Farmers Cooperative Union Invitation to bid for professional consultancy service to develop five/ten-year strategic plan development for Admas Farmers cooperative union. Admas multipurpose farmers- cooperative union is in Awi zone, Amhara regional state, Ethiopia, and was established in December 2004 with an initial capital of ETB 855,852.4. The main purpose of its establishment is to increase the production and productivity of member farmers on the one hand by procuring and/or manufacturing Agricultural inputs and industrial products in bulk and supplying to members and on the other hand by purchasing agricultural products from farmers to curve marketing problem. During its establishment member primary multipurpose cooperatives were only 16, currently, member primary multipurpose cooperatives reached 83 with a total individual member of 170317 (M= 127900 & F=42417). The operation area of the union covered nine woredas of the Awi zone (Ayehu, Dangila, Fageta, Guwang, Ankesha, Zigem, Jawi, and Banja Among the services provided to members by the union include agricultural input supply (fertilizer, Improved seeds), grain marketing (maize, teff, sesame, soybean, rapeseed, Nigerseed, ground nut, and wheat), providing farm service to member of affiliated cooperatives and work on PP bag and plastic factory establishment. The consultant should fulfill at least the following requirements. The consultant should have a legal license for consultancy service. The consultant should have a renewed business license for the current Ethiopia year. The consultant should be registered with the Ethiopian tax authority and should produce valid documents including VAT, TIN, Tax clearance, and registration certificate. previous working experience with farmers- organizations, cooperatives and union is an advantage. The consultant is required to have considerable experience/understanding of the nature of food insecurity areas studies and be familiar with the project area. Lists and Qualifications of professional-s composition of the study team, Copies of credentials and experience letters and certificates should be included in the technical proposal.
