- Expression of Interest are invited for Private Financing for Landscape-Level Investments in Carbon and Production: Prefeasibility Study The objective of this consultant assignment is to prepare a prefeasibility study that provides information if and how private financing both domestic and foreign could be mobilized to generate Emissions Reductions (ERs) that could leverage financing from emerging carbon markets and future and existing carbon funds. Such investments might also generate additional benefits in wood production and processing Ethiopia. The investments should also deliver adaptation co-benefits. The assignment will assess the general feasibility of a national or at least large jurisdictional approach to generating ERs from Ethiopias ongoing efforts that support sustainable land management and forest management and restoration, assess the market and funding opportunities for emissions purchase, identify knowledge and skills gaps that need to be addressed and provide guidance for more detailed planning and preparation. The assignment would also seek to outline a roadmap (see attached TOR) The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
