Bid closing date: Jun 21, 2022 10:00 AM Bid opening date: Jun 21, 2022 10:30 AM Region: Addis Ababa Bid document price: 100.00 (One Hundred Birr) Bid bond: 2% Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is an international relief and development agency that was established in Birmingham, the UK in 1984. Islamic Relief (IR) began relief work in Ethiopia in 2000 in response to the severe drought that plagued great parts of the Somali region. Four years after first started working in the country, IR officially opened an office in the country in 2004. Since 2004, Islamic Relief (IR) has been operational in Ethiopia delivering humanitarian assistance and implementing development interventions. Working with the local communities and government, IR managed to reach millions of vulnerable communities in remote pastoralist areas and the very urban poor. As part of these efforts, IRE intends to procure veterinary drugs and veterinary equipment for promoting the Resilience Livelihood project in Chiro Oromia regional state. Accordingly, The ISLAMIC RELIEF (IR) now invites all eligible suppliers licensed by relevant government authorities for 2014 E.C. to procure veterinary drugs and veterinary equipment. The offer shall include the purchase of veterinary drugs, veterinary equipment, and, transport to the chiro office; The bid shall be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bid amount in the Cash Payment Order (CPO). Experience with similar assignments for at least three years is required; A complete set of bidding documents can be purchased by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of bank advice after depositing a non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 at ISLAMIC RELIEF ETHIOPIA A/C 1000007230714; Sealed and waxed envelopes containing original and copy of the offer for the supply of the abovementioned tasks shall be delivered before June 21, 2022; The bid shall be closed at 10:00 AM and be opened on the same day at 10:30 AM at the Islamic Relief Country office and Islamic Relief Chiro office in Oromia regional state.
