- Tenders are invited for Procurement of Cargo Truck (Payload 15,000-18,000 Kg.) and 3-Axle Cargo Drawbar Trailer Bids opening date: 30th calendar day at 10:30 AM. Bid document price: Birr 200.00 Bid bond: Birr 500,000.00 Payment of non-refundable of Ethiopian Birr 200.00 (Two Hundred Birr Only) for the whole set of documents. Bidders may obtain further information from, and inspect the bidding documents at the above address up on written request. Bid shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening date and must be accompanied by a bid security of a CPO or Bank Unconditional Guarantee: the amount of the Bid security shall ETB 500,000.00 (Five hundred thousand Birr) and delivered to Ethiopian Industrial Input Development Enterprise. For foreign bidders, the bank guarantee from a banking institution recognized by the purchaser located in any eligible country should be counter guaranteed by Commercial Bank of Ethiopia. Unconditional bank guarantee Submitted in its original form copies will not be accepted. The deadline for submission of questions and/or clarifications should be 10 days prior to the deadline for submission of the bid at 10:00 AM. The deadline for Bid submission will be on the 30th calendar day; starting from the date of the bid announced in Addis Zemen & Herald newspapers. But if the 30th day doesn't fall on a working day, the bid submission shall be held on the next working day at 10:00 AM The Bid will be opened on the 30th day and if the 30th day doesn't fall on a working day, the bid opening shall be held on the next working day at 10:30 A.M.
