- Tenders are invited for Procurement of Construction of 11 ABR for Condominiums. 5 New Public and 15 New Communal Toilets and Showers and Rehabilitation of 5 Public and 5 Communal Latrines 1 3 Communal Toilets & 1 ABR II 4 Communal Toilets III 4 Communal Toilets IV 3 Communal Toilets, 1 Public Toilet & 1 Rehabilitation of Public Latrine V 1 public toilet, 2 rehabilitation of public latrines & rehabilitation of Communal latrines VI 1 Communal Toilet and 3 ABR VII 2 Public Toilets & 3 Rehabilitation of Communal Latrines VIII 2 Rehabilitation of Public Latrines and ABR IX 1 Public Toilet and 4 ABR A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders directly to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 600.00 (Six Hundred Ethiopian Birr) or its equivalent in freely convertible currency starting from the first announcement of this notice on the Ethiopian Herald in-office hours until the closing date and time. The method of payment will be in cash. Bids must be delivered to the address below within 30 (thirty) calendar days counted from the first day of a notice posted in the newspaper at 10:00A.M (morning). Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on the same day at 10:30 A.M (morning). If the bid opening or closing date is on holiday, the closing or opening of the bid will be the next working day at the same time and venue. Late bids will be rejected. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 200,000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand Birr only) for each organized lot in the form of an Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO in a freely convertible currency with a validity period not less than 120 days + 28 days in the name of Gondar City Water Supply and Sewerage Service. This bid security should be submitted from banks located around Gondar and Bahir Dar areas. The bid security submitted from any other areas will not be accepted. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Gondar City Water Supply and Sewerage Service, Project Management Unit, e-mail abiyuwudu@gmail.com and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 09:00 Am to 05:00 PM Monday to Friday at the address given below.
