- Tenders are invited for Procurement of Construction of Fecal Sludge Treatment Plant for Jimma Town Average annual construction turnover: The Bidder shall demonstrate a minimum average annual construction turnover of ETB 215.00 million calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress and/or completed within the last five (5) years divided by five (5) years, Specific Experience: The Bidder shall demonstrate that it has successfully completed: (i) 1 (one) contract within the last 5 (five) years prior to bid submission deadline, with a value of at least ETB 188.40 million, OR (ii) Two contracts each of minimum value ETB 94 20 million, OR (iii) Three contracts each of minimum value ETB 62.80 million that have been successfully and substantially completed and that are similar in nature and complexity to the assignment under the Contract supported with the names of the clients, types and value of the contract. There are also additional requirements provided in the bidding document. 5. A complete set of bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 700.00 (ETB Seven-Hundred). The method of payment will be direct deposit to Oromia Water & Energy Bureau Adera Account No. 1000007342032, or direct cash payment to the counter cashier at the Oromia Water and Energy Bureau. The document will be collected in hard copy. 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 4 April 2023 at 2:00 P.M Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 4 April 2023 at 2:30 P.M (Immediately after the deadline for submission of bids). 7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of ETB 2,700,000.00 (Ethiopian Birr Two Million Seven-Hundred Thousand only) or equivalent in freely convertible currency from a reputable source from any eligible country in the form of unconditional Bank Guarantee from recognized Banks using the form Section 4 of the bidding document or in the form of Cashier Payment Order (CPO).
