- Tenders are invited for Procurement of Different Types of Vehicles & Construction Equipment. Bid closing date: Mar 30, 2023 2:00 PM Bid opening date: Mar 30, 2023 2:30 PM Region: Addis Ababa Bid document price: 400.00 Birr Bid bond: Different for the various lots The Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation invites sealed bids under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) from registered suppliers for the procurement of Different types of vehicles & construction equipment Whereas a supplier wishes to participate in this bid but is not yet registered in the suppliers' list may apply to the relevant authority for registration. The bidding document may be purchased by interested suppliers from the office of the Foreign Procurement Team against payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 400.00(birr four hundred). This invitation for bid is open to all interested bidders regardless of their nationality and the bid evaluation and award shall be determined in accordance with the provisions indicated in the bidding document. The bidding document is prepared in English language. Interested bidders shall submit the following evidence; Trading License renewed for 2015 EC; and Tax Clearance Certificate indicating the bidder is allowable to participate in any public tender, Vat Registration certificate and Registration certificate as supplier from the mandated public body, Bids must be delivered or deposited in the Tender Box available at the office of the Foreign Procurement Team before the closing date and time on, MARCH 30/20223 at 02:00 PM. Bids will be opened on, MARCH 30/2023 at 02:30 PM in the Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation. Procurement department Conference Room in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security; the amount of the Bid Proposal security shall be 500.000.00 (Birr five hundred Thousand) For lot 1(one) and 300,000.00 (Birr three hundred Thousand) for lot 2(two). The bid security should be either in the form of Certified Payment Order (CPO) and Bank Guarantee in the name of Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation. Bid bond in the form of insurance bond or in any other form shall not be accepted.
