- Tenders are invited for Procurement of Electromechanical Equipment (Submersible Pump and Surface Pump). Bid closing date: 30 (Thirty) consecutive calendar days at 10:00 am Bid opening date: 30 (Thirty) consecutive calendar days at 10:30 am Region: Hareri Bid document price: 800.00 ETB Bid bond: Not less than 1% The Harari Water Supply & Sewerage Authority has obtained financing from the World Bank through the Ministry of Water Energy to apply a portion of it toward the cost of the 2nd Urban Water supply & Sanitation project II and intends to apply part of the proceeds to ward payments under the contract for Procurement of Electro-Mechanical Equipments for Harar town. The Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders and qualified contracts for the supply of Electro-Mechanical equipment. The delivery period will be within 90 days. 3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours. Qualifications requirements of Suppliers are: Renewed for 2015 E.C Trade license, Tax Paid Clearances Certificate, Registration for Value Added Tax (VAT), and Tax Identification Number (TIN). Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the address given below. A complete set of Bidding Documents in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address given below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee Ethi. Birr 800 (Eight hundred birr only). The method of payment will be in cash. Bids must be delivered to the address given below before 30 (Thirty) Consecutive calendar days starting from the 1st announcement day Up to 10:00 am at the closing date. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 10:30 am of the closing date. All bids shall be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after Bid opening and all bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of an amount not less than 1% of the total bid price in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank guarantee in local currency to be provided with the bidding document. The Authority reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
