- Tenders are invited for Procurement of 400,000 Metric Tons of Milling Wheat Bids opening date: 10:30 a.m. (local Time) , November 30, 2021. Bid document price: 300 (three hundred) birr Bid bond: 400,000 birr (Four hundred Thousand/ Interested bidders may purchase a complete set of Bidding Documents in English as of October 13. 2021 from Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. 12:00 noon. On the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable, fee of ETB 300.00 (Three Hundred Birr only) or equivalent amount in easily convertible hard currency. The method of payment will be cash. - Domestic Bidders who intend to bid on their own can get the bid document upon submission of a confirmation letter stating that they will bid by their own capacity only. - Foreign bidders who do not have local agents in Ethiopia and wish to get the bidding document, will be sent by registered airmail if required so by the bidder, but under no circumstances ETBC will be held responsible for late delivery or loss of the document so mailed. However foreign bidders shall have a local agent to Participate in the bid First-class mail for overseas bidders who send Bank Draft of Birr 2,000.00 (Birr Two Thousand Only) or equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency will be sent the Bidding Documents in addition to the price of the document to the address given below. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:15 a.m. (Local Time) on Tues day November 30, 2021. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 10:30 a.m. (Local Time) on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 400,000.00 (Four Hundred Thousand Birr only) or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency for each lot in form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Counter Guarantee from local banks.
