- Tenders are invited for Procurement Rural Water Supply System Construction (Civil Work, Pipe Laying, Em Supply and Installation, Water Point Construction for Hobicha Water Supply and Sanitation Project Distance of the site Location in KM 313 KM from Addis Ababa to Zonal Capital Town and 40 Km from Zonal Capital to the site Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers Procurement in investment project financing, Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Service, fifth edition September 2023, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Ministry of Water and Energy, Ethiopia Horn of Africa Groundwater for Resilience Project Water Supply Implementation Unit, Procurement section, room 220 from 8:30 A.M -12:30 P.M in the morning and 1:30 P.M to 5:30 P.M in the afternoon at the address given below. The scanned copy of the bidding document in English can be obtained free of charge by downloading it from the Ministry of Water and Energy Website: https://www.mowe.gov.et/en/tenders. Bidders are required to complete the registration by sending a bidder representative to the Ministry in person during office hours from 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and 1:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. on the First floor & room no. 239. Bids must be delivered in person to the address below on or before 01 March 2024, 2:30 P.M. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 01 March 2024, 2:00 P.M at 3:00 P.M All bids must be accompanied by Security of ETB 400,000 (Four Hundred Thousand Birr) in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee that is Valid for at least 150 days.
