- Tenders are invited for Procurement for the Supply of HDPE Pipes and Fittings Supply of HDPE Pipes Supply of Fittings Place of Goods Supply: Amhara National Regional State, D/Birhan City, 130 km to the North East from Addis Ababa 4. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders directly to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 400.00 (Four hundred Ethiopian Birr) or its equivalent in freely convertible currency starting from the first announcement of this notice on The Ethiopian Herald in-office hours until the closing date and time. The method of payment will be in cash. 5. Bids must be delivered to the address below within 30 (thirty) calendar days counted from the first day of a notice posted on the newspaper at 10:00A.M (morning). Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated Representative and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on the same day at 10:30 A.M (morning) If the bid opening or closing date is on holiday, closing or opening of the bid will be the next working day at the same time and venue. Late bids will be rejected. 6. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 150,000.00 (One Hundred Fifty Thousand ETB) for each organized lot in the form of an Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO which should be issued from a reputable bank from Debre Birhan city in a free convertible currency with validity period not less than 120 days + 28 days in the name of Debre Birhan City Water Supply and Sewerage Service Office. 7. Debre Birhan water supply and sewerage service office reserve the right to reject part and/or all bids. 8. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Debre Birhan City Water Supply and Sewerage Service, Project Management Unit, e-mail tamemitk@gmail.com and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 09:00 Am to 05:00 Pm Monday to Friday at the address given below.
