- Expression of Interest are invited for Procurement of Works/Construction for USAID Transform Wash (T-Wash) Project Implementation in Five Regions of Ethiopia. SNV have signed a multi-year project agreement with population services international (PSI) to implement transform water supply, sanitation, and hygiene (T-WASH) project in five regions namely Afar, Amhara, Oromia, SNNP, and Somali. The project aim is to reduce preventable deaths and illnesses due to diarrheal diseases in Ethiopia, particularly among children under five, through the increased use of improved WASH products and services. The project is supporting the One WASH National Program (OWNP) by addressing key barriers to the uptake and sustained use of WASH products through the development of an inclusive WASH market system or market-based approach. The original T-WASH project period was from 2017 to 2022 and the key result areas are 1) increased WASH governance and management capacity at sub-national level; 2) increased demand for low-cost, quality WASH products and services, with a focus on sanitation; 3) increased supply for low-cost quality WASH products and services, with a focus on sanitation; and 4) increased knowledge base to bring WASH innovations to scale.
