- Tenders are invited for Providing Consultancy Service for Power Economist This request for expression of interest aims at hiring a consultant for a period of 24 months. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of the consultant includes (but are not limited to) Developing and designing methodologies for data collection (quantitative and qualitative) and data analysis. The consultant shall conduct a two-fold evaluation of: (i) national and regional energy economics; (i) development of regional and continental energy infrastructure economics (in operation, under implementation or planned) as well as associated services. Existing economic performance analysis focused on: (1) Highlighting how various factors constrain the economic and financial efficiency of EEP (e.g. the quality of physical infrastructure, the quality of the institutional and regulatory environment, the structure of infrastructure services markets, financial constraints); (II) Identify the potential for improving the efficiency and the role they could play in the future; and (ii) drawing lessons from the leadership, construction and operation infrastructures
