The project road is an asphalt road having a total approximate length of 68.255 km main road plus 28.687 km spur roads is located in the Southern Nations Nationalities and Peoples' Region (SNNPR). The road starts at Atat Mazoria some 15 km from end of Wolkite Town on the Wolkite - Emdibir - Hosanna road and ends at Lera town a seat of the Mi'erab Azernet Berbere Wereda of the Silte Zone and also a town on the same Wolkite - Emdibir - Hosanna road.
